The whole mess with the paper leak back in May broke so many hearts. Poured everything into that May 3 exam – late nights, giving up outings with friends, family sacrifices – and then suddenly it was all cancelled. Now the re-exam is literally tomorrow, Sunday June 21, and the NTA has come out with fresh advisories to keep things safe.

The NTA is sending reminders through SMS, email, and now WhatsApp telling you to download your admit card if you haven’t already. If you’ve already got the revised one, you’re good – no need to download it again. They’re doing this so no one misses out at the last minute. But please, only download from the official site: neet.nta.nic.in.
The safety advisory is actually pretty straightforward and important. NTA is straight-up saying: We will never ask you for money. We won’t send you question papers or answer keys. We won’t ask for your OTP or personal details. If any message feels fishy, just ignore and report it. Scammers are everywhere during these times, preying on your stress. The official WhatsApp number is +91 78279 80287 with a blue tick and “National Testing Agency” name. It’s broadcast only – they won’t reply or ask anything back. This is their new way to cut through all the fake forwards that spread like crazy in your groups.
A lot of you have been asking about center changes. Some places like Prayagraj saw shifts, so double-check your admit card carefully. Print it clearly, keep multiple copies maybe, and pair it with a valid ID proof. No old May 3 admit card will work – you need the fresh one for tomorrow.
The pressure is insane. Reports of students feeling overwhelmed, even tragic stories of some who couldn’t handle the stress – my heart goes out to every family affected. If you’re feeling low, talk to someone today. Parents, a teacher, a friend, or call a helpline. Your life and dreams are bigger than one exam. This re-exam is a second chance, and NTA has promised tighter security – biometrics, CCTV, all that – to make sure it’s fair this time.
Quick, practical stuff from one student to another:
- Check your admit card tonight. Note the exact center, reporting time, and what you can carry.
- Keep things simple: Transparent water bottle, basic pen, your ID. Follow the dress code strictly – no watches, no fancy stuff.
- Pack your bag before sleeping. Reach early tomorrow.
- No last-minute heavy revision. Just light review, stay calm, eat something decent, and sleep at least 6-7 hours.
The CBI investigation into the original leak is still going on, but that’s not in your hands right now. Your job is to walk into that hall tomorrow with a clear head. You’ve already shown real strength by pushing through these uncertain months. Many of you are first-generation dreamers aiming for medical seats – this fight itself matters.
NTA says everything is set for a smooth conduct. They’re using AI monitoring and all possible checks. For you, focus on what you prepared. One paper doesn’t decide your entire worth. Whether you get that top rank or not, the resilience you’re building now will help you in life.

Tomorrow is the day. Give it your honest best shot. After that, whatever happens, be kind to yourself. Celebrate the effort. There are other paths too if needed, but right now, just show up prepared and confident.
